Step 1: Click on the Start button at the bottom left of your screen.


 
 
Step 2: Click on Settings.
 

 
Step 3: Then go to Privacy.

Step 1: Disable geolocation

This will prevent Windows and its partners from locating you geographically. To do this, go to the Location tab of the privacy settings. In the Allow access to location on this device section, click on Change and then switch off the button. The same goes for the button below.

Step 3: Disable synchronization between your devices

By disabling this option, you will prevent the transfer of data between devices. Because who says transfer, implies that your information passes by Windows servers. To do this, go to Other devices tab of the privacy settings. In Communicate with unpaired devices section, switch off the button.
 

 

Step 4: Limit access to your peripherals (Camera and Microphone)

Some PC users never use their microphone or camera. If you belong to this category, then it is possible to disable these two devices completely or partially. In any case, it is always interesting to know which applications have permission to capture your conversations or videos. To do this, go to Camera tab of the privacy settings. In Allow access to the camera on this device section, click on Change button and then switch off the button. The same goes for the Microphone.
 

 

 

Step 5: General settings

All settings in General should be turned off.
