How to Disable Windows 10 Tracking

In this tutorial, we are going to see how to disable Windows 10 tracking service. Basically, Microsoft gives you the option to reduce the frequency of sending comments (automatically, always, once a day, once a week, or never) and the amount of data you want to send to their servers (basic, enhanced, or full).

In order to limit sending your information to Microsoft, there are several options that should be disabled in Windows 10. Follow this tutorial!

Step 1: Click on the Start button at the bottom left of your screen.


 
 
Step 2: Click on Settings.
 

 
Step 3: Then go to Privacy.
 

 
 
Step 4: Then, in the left column, click on Diagnostics & feedback, and check the box Basic: Send only information about your device, its settings and capabilities, and whether it is performing properly.
 

 
Step 5: Of course, this will not completely disable data collection. To completely disable Microsoft’s tracking, simply go to the Services management tool. To do this, type services.msc in the Windows 10 Start menu,
 

 
Step 6: Then double-click on the service named Diagnostic Policy Service and change its startup status to Disabled and at the same time click on the Stop button and validate with OK.
 

 
 
Step 7: Then double-click on the Device Management Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) Push message Routing Service service.
 

 
Step 8: Scroll down the Startup type list and select the Disabled and at the same time click on the Stop button and validate with OK.
