Step 1: In Explorer, open the hard drive you want to use to store temporary files and create a new folder TEMP for example.
 

 

 
Step 2: Double-click the Computer icon on the desktop and Right-click in an empty space, Then select Properties.
 

 
Step 3: Click Advanced System Settings.
 

 
Step 4: Click on the Environment Variable button.
 

 
 
Step 5: Select the TEMP variable and click on the Edit button.
 

 
Step 6: Enter the path to the folder to be used on the hard drive for temporary files and click OK.
 

 
Step 7: Repeat the operation for the TMP variable.
 

 
 
Step 8: Confirm by clicking OK.
