How to Enable Fingerprint in Windows 10

 
Step 1: Click on the Start button at the bottom left of your screen.
 

 

 
Step 2: Click on Settings.
 

 
Step 3: Select Accounts.
 

 
 
Step 4: In the left pane, select Sign-in options. And on the right hand side, look for the Windows Hello Fingerprint and click on the Setup button.
 

 
Step 5: You will see a welcome screen. Click on the Get Started button to continue.
 

 
Step 6: Before you can configure fingerprint authentication, you are prompted to authenticate yourself. Then authenticate with a PIN or password. If you are using PIN security, you will be prompted to enter the PIN.
 

 
 
Step 7: Now, just like you would do on cell phones, scan your finger on the fingerprint sensor several times. When you scan your finger, you will see a filling in fingerprint animation.
 

 
Step 8: Once the bar is filled, you will see All screen set. At this point, you have completed the configuration of fingerprint authentication in Windows 10. Click the close to close the wizard.
