By default, the taskbar in Windows 10 is locked. This prevents any unintentional movement or modification of the taskbar. To unlock it, it is very simple. Right-click on the taskbar, then uncheck Lock the taskbar.
 

 

 

How to change the position of the taskbar in Windows 10

Now that your taskbar is unlocked, you can change its position on the screen: left, right, bottom or top. To do this, hold the left mouse click on the taskbar, and move it where you want.
