In this tutorial, we are going to see how to turn off tablet mode in Windows 10. Tablet mode on Windows 10 provides a more user-friendly experience at work by running all apps in full screen, while giving you a Start screen instead of a Start menu. Manually switching between Tablet and Desktop modes is very simple and can be done quickly in a few steps.
 

Method 1: How to Turn Off Tablet Mode in Windows 10 using Notification Center

 

 
Step 1: Click on the Notifications button at the bottom right of the screen.
 

 
Step 2: Click on the “Tablet mode” button to turn off it (it turns grey). If the Tablet Mode square is not visible, click on “Expand” to see the other proposals.
 

Immediately, the usual desktop returns to the screen with the taskbar and Start menu.
 

Method 2: How to Turn Off Tablet Mode in Windows 10 using Settings

Step 1: Click on the Start button at the bottom left of your screen.
 


 
Step 2: Click on “Settings”.
 

 
 
Step 3: Click on “System”.
 

 
Step 4: Select Tablet mode from the navigation panel.
 

 
Step 5: Turn off the option “Make windows more friendly when using your device as a tablet”.
 

 
Step 6: Select the option “Remeber what I used last” and the second one “Don’t ask me and don’t switch”.
 

Immediately, the usual desktop returns to the screen with the taskbar and Start menu.
