How to Turn On Dark Mode on Microsoft Edge

In the previous tutorial we have seen how to enable dark mode in Windows 10. So in this tutorial, we are going to see how to turn on dark mode on Microsoft Edge. Microsoft Edge web browser that comes with Windows 10 has a dark theme.
 

How to Turn On Dark Mode on Microsoft Edge

 

 
Step 1: To enable the dark theme in Edge, click the menu button in the toolbar (the icon with three dots on the far right), then select Settings option.
 

 
Step 2: In the left menu click on Appearance, choose the Dark option. You can also choose any theme you want.
 

 
Note that the title bar, toolbar, and menus for Edge are darkened, but web pages are not affected. You will need a browser extension such as Turn Off the Lights to make the entire web dark.
