In this tutorial, we are going to see how to check internet data usage in Windows 10. Windows 10 has a built-in bandwidth monitoring tool that lets you see how much data you’ve used in the last 30 days. Follow the next steps to display your bandwidth usage in Windows 10.

Windows 10 tracks the amount of network data you are using per network. This is very helpful for tracking your data usage over the past 30 days. While it’s not as feature-rich as third-party apps, the tool is good enough to show which apps consume the most data. This feature is especially useful if you use mobile data in Windows 10.

How to Check Internet Data Usage in Windows 10

Step 1: Click on the Start button at the bottom left of your screen.
 

 
Step 2: Click on Settings.
 

 
Step 3: Select Network & Internet.
 

 

 
Step 4: On the left, click on Data usage. On the right side, you will see your network connections. Next to the network connection name, you’ll see the network usage data for the last 30 days. As you can see in the following image we have used 9.31GB on the Ethernet.
 

 
Step 5: You can also display data usage per application. Simply click on the View usage per app link that appears under the network connections.
 

 
 
On this page, select the network whose usage you want to see and Windows automatically lists all applications and their data usage in descending order.
