How to Watch Videos While Working on Other Tasks on Windows 10 Computer

In this tutorial, we are going to see how to switch to mini-player mode in the Windows 10 Movies & TV application?

Windows 10 Creators Update includes a new feature called Mini View. For now, this is only available in the Movies & TV and Skype Preview apps, but it could be integrated into many more. This feature simply allows you to place the application in a corner of the screen to keep an eye on it. For example, you can switch the Windows 10 Movies & TV app to mini-view mode so you can watch a video while working on other tasks.
 

How to Watch Videos While Working on Other Tasks on Windows 10 Computer

First, open the Movies & TV application. Then select a movie or an episode of a TV series. When the playback starts, look at the control bar at the bottom of the screen. This is where you have the famous button to play in mini-player mode. It is right next to the button that allows you to switch to full screen. Click on it to switch to mini-view mode. The video will then be fixed at the top right of your screen.
 

 

 
You can of course resize the player by placing your cursor on a corner of the player and placing it wherever you want by dragging and dropping.
 

 
Finally, to exit the mini-reader mode, click on the icon again. That’s it!
