How to Create a System Repair Disk in Windows 10

In this tutorial, we are going to see how to create a System Repair Disk in Windows 10. As you know, there is no such thing as zero risk, especially in the computer world. Everybody can be one day victim of a system failure or infected by a good big virus particularly destructive preventing the computer from starting. So I recommend you to be very careful.

Think of making regular backups of your data (see: Creating a system image of Windows 10), but also creating a system repair disk (DVD) that could be useful in case of problems.

If you have a CD burner, do it without further delay, the operation is very simple. If Windows refuses to boot from the hard disk or SSD, you can use this disk to restart your computer. This will allow you to use a restore point to find your system as it was at a given date or to recover your entire disk using a system image.

Step 1: Insert your system repair disc into your PC’s CD/DVD drive.

Step 2: Restart your computer and then configure the boot order of your PC to boot from the CD/DVD drive instead of the system disk.

Step 3: Choose the keyboard layout (click on US).
