In this tutorial, we are going to see how to enable or disable updates for other Microsoft products on Windows 10.

In Windows 10, updates are automatically downloaded and installed as soon as they become available (unless you are using a limited connection, then updates will not be downloaded until you enable them).

You can also choose whether or not to receive updates for other Microsoft products, such as Office in Windows Update.

Step 1: Start by opening the Settings. Click on the Start menu and then on the gear icon to access the Windows Settings.
 

 

 
Step 2: Then go to the Updates & Security menu.
 

 
Step 3: Then click on the Advanced Options.
 

 
 
Step 4: In the advanced options. Under Update Options, enable or disable Receive updates for other Microsoft products when you update Windows (see screenshot below).
