In this tutorial, we are going to see how to move your libraries to another drive in Windows 10. If you have installed Windows on an SSD, which is much faster than a “classic” hard disk but with a smaller capacity, you should probably move the libraries where Windows keeps music, images, videos, etc. by default. This will save you disk space on your SSD to install your favorite programs, for example.

Step 1: To change the path of the libraries, you just need to open Windows File Explorer. In this tutorial, We will move the Music library from C: drive to D: drive.
 

 
Step 2: In This PC, right-click on the Music title and activate the Properties command.
 

 
 
Step 3: Then go to the Location tab, click on the Move… button and enter the new location of your choice.
 

 
The procedure is the same for all other folders. For example, if you want to move the Documents folder to another drive, click on it, then Properties, and go to the Location tab.
