In this tutorial, we are going to see how to change the MAC address on Windows 10. MAC address serves as a permanent physical identifier for any device that connects to a network. This includes your phone, your router, your computer, your printer, your TV, anything that connects to your Internet. If your computer has an Ethernet port and a WiFi adapter, you have two MAC addresses: one for Ethernet and one for wireless.
 


 
 

How to Change the MAC Address on Windows 10

Press Windows key + X on your keyboard, then click on Device Manager.
 


 
Expand the Network Cards section, right-click on your Ethernet or wireless card, and then click Properties.
 

 
 
Select the Advanced tab. In the Property box, select Network Address or you may find Locally Administered Address, then select the Value radio button. To change the address, click in the value box and then delete its contents and enter a new address. A Mac address consists of six pairs of hexadecimal numbers. Enter a new set without the dashes, click OK and then restart your computer. In the following case we have entered 00AA11BB22CC.
 

 
To confirm the change, open the CMD and type: ipconfig /all then press Enter to verify the physical address.
