How to Set an Alarm Clock on Windows 10

In this tutorial, we are going to see how to set an alarm clock on Windows 10. For some reason, Windows didn’t include alarms, and timers until Windows 8 was running. Windows 10 improves on these features and this basic function now works the same way it does on all other operating systems.

The alarm works exactly the way you want it to. You set a time (and days) for the alarm to go off, select an alarm sound, assign a label to the alarm and you’re done.

How to Set an Alarm Clock on Windows 10

Step 1: Press Start, type “alarms” in the search box, and then click on “Alarms and Clock” result.

Step 2: Click on Alarm from the left navigation panel, and Click the button + Add an alarm to add a new alarm. You can also select an existing alarm to edit it.

Step 3: Set an alarm time. You can also set the alarm sound, the number of alarm repetitions and the alarm name, but these are all optional settings.

Step 4: Click on “Save” button.

Note: For most computers, the alarm screen will state that “Notifications will only be displayed if the PC is in sleep mode”. So, in order for your alarm to go off, you will need to set your computer to not go to sleep.

To stop your computer from going to sleep, follow this tutorial.
