How to Fix Screen Flickering in Windows 10

In this tutorial, we are going to see how to fix screen flickering in windows 10. After switching from Windows 7/8.1 to Windows 10, you had the unpleasant surprise of seeing your screen flickering constantly with the extra bonus of being unable to take control of your computer. Annoying isn’t it?

Solution 1:

This problem may be due to your antivirus that has not been updated for some time and is therefore not compatible with Windows 10. So the solution is to boot your computer into Safe Mode with network support, then uninstall or update your antivirus.

Solution 2:

The second solution is to disable some services. To do this, we will assume that you cannot use your mouse.

Step 1: Start by opening the Task Manager by pressing CTRL + ALT + Delete simultaneously.

Step 2: Then click on File and select Run a new task.

Step 3: Then type msconfig and press Enter.

Step 4: Click on the “Services” tab, and find the two services named: Problem Reports and Solutions Control Panel Support and Windows Error Reporting Service.

Step 5: Uncheck these two services and then restart your computer.

After restarting your computer, your screen should no longer be flickering. If it doesn’t, you may need to downgrade to your old version of Windows from Windows 10.
