How to Get Windows 7 Start Menu on Windows 10 with Classic Shell

You are not happy with the new Windows 10 Start menu? Don’t worry, We have THE solution for you! I recommend you to download and install Classic Shell, a software that allows you to find the classic Start menu, the one you found in the previous operating systems like Windows 7 or Windows XP.

In this tutorial, we are going to see how to get Windows 7 start menu on Windows 10 with Classic Shell.
 

How to Get Windows 7 Start Menu on Windows 10 with Classic Shell

Classic Shell provides a really simple interface to use. Once on the Classic Shell settings window, you are asked to select the style of Start menu you want: Classic Style, Classic with 2 columns, or Windows 7 Style.

For example, if you want to get back to Windows 7 interface, check the last box(Windows 7 Style). On the other hand, if you prefer the look of Windows XP, check the first box (Classic Style).
 

 

 
Then download the pack of images by clicking here, unzip the file on your desktop. Go back to the Classic Shell window and click on Pick image… and select the image pack that fits the size of your taskbar that you have unzipped on your desktop.
 

 
Now click on the Skin tab of Classic Shell and in the Skin option, select Windows Aero. Click on the Ok button at the bottom right: you now have the Windows 7 start menu on your computer.
