Bridge Router
In this short tutorial, we are going to see What is Bridge Router in Networking?
A Bridge Router is a hybrid device that combines the functions of a router and a bridge. Thus, this type of equipment can transfer non-routable protocols from one network to another and route the others. Specifically, the Bridge Router acts primarily as a bridge and routes packets if this is not possible.
A Bridge Router can therefore in some architectures be more economical and compact than a router and a bridge.
