How to Export Database in phpMyAdmin

PhpMyAdmin is a tool that allows us to quickly view the state of our database and modify it, without having to write SQL queries. In this tutorial, we are going to see how to export a database in phpMyAdmin.

1. Select your database from the menu on the left.
 

 

 
2. Click “Export” in the menu at the top.
 

 
3. Choose the export method, click on the “Custom – display all possible options” option if you want to list the tables you want to save. If you want to back up the entire database, click on the “Quick – display only the minimal options” option.
 

 
4. Click on the “Go” button and, when prompted, save the file to your local computer.
